Missed my SXM in car electronics

I love that I was able to add SXM to my 2020 Silverado with an IOR coded radio. Installation took about 20 minutes. Everything was in the box except the fuse clamp and the cable to connect to the chassis. I know I need to connect to a USB port, but this is a great alternative. The programmed presets work well with the track buttons on the steering wheel.

I've had XM or Sirius XM in all my cars since 2004. They were factory installed on all but my current truck (2019 GMC Sierra). Now it's optional, which I didn't know until I bought it. I understand why a lot of people like to stream music from their phones, but I find it a big problem. You need to connect your phone to the car radio and then use radio apps (Android Auto or Apple Car Play). Worst of all, you have to fiddle with your phone to change songs. Luckily VAIS took care of any issues Iโ€ฆ

GREAT PRODUCT in Satellite Radio

Chevrolet dealer bought this for me and installed it. I rented a 2019 Silverado and it has an 8 inch infotainment center. I was surprised that it doesn't have a SiriusXM radio. The dealer did a clean install. It's great that I can change the channel with the up and mine buttons on the steering wheel. I like that the buttons now have two modes. If I just want to hear my presets; I keep the button pressed until the channel changes. If I want to try another channel that is not preset; I just press

Better than paying $3,000 for the next set of my new Equinox

I recently bought a 2019 Equinox and had no intention of upgrading the $3000 trim level to essentially get satellite radio. The installation didn't go too bad. To make it look nice, you'll probably need to remove some parts of the dashboard to route cables and place equipment. If you search the internet for the Metra for the vehicle you are installing it in you can find some information on how to remove some parts. The product itself is pretty simple. Start the antenna and connect it to the xmโ€ฆ
