Nice stereo audio cable extension

I work at a job where I can listen to my iPod so I cut a small hole in the cargo pocket of my shorts to route the headphone cable under my clothes and down my back. This cable is long enough to give me the slack I need to get to the iPod, and as far as I can tell it's built well enough to handle the occasional awkward pull and not the awful crackle of the to short-circuit the cable. Happy with this purchase.

In a nutshell - audio cable

This is exactly what I need to extend the audio cable from one side of the netbook to the other side of the netbook where I have a VGA to HDMI converter have with an audio device. This VGA to HDMI Converter with Audio needs to be connected to the VGA port and the USB port on the same side of the netbook. Unfortunately, the headphone jack is on the opposite side of the netbook. This short audio extender is great for solving that problem.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • High price

Not recommended! Best stereo cable

This cable is not recommended. Bought for Bose headphones. The Bose headphones sound great, but I needed a few more inches of cord to use them while running the 3-4 miles I do every day. When I plugged it in, the sound quality degraded badly; it was very "tinny" and totally unacceptable. I've disconnected and reconnected it several times with nothing changed. I also removed my phone's cover to make sure the connector didn't fully engage. Can only work for voice. But there is definitely no music

Pros
  • Ideal for small households
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Not compatible with accessories and consumables

Quality cable. However, the angled plug did not fit properly into the socket during operation, and I had no sound at first. When I pushed the connector with some force, it fully popped up and I got sound. However, this did not last long. When the cable moved, I lost the sound again. I can't use a cable if I need to hold onto it to ensure a good connection. I think the problem might be the plastic wrap around the plug. It's also probably unique to my application - connecting to a motorcycle…

Huge connectors, not 1990 year

I wanted to like this cable but honestly the strain relief at both ends is gigantic and heavy. I bought this to get an extra 10" of headphone length at the gym when connected to a trainer. The intention wasn't to rip the headphones out of my ears when I get on my bike etc. Instead, the strain relief on the 3.5mm jack is so heavy that it uncomfortably pulls the entire cable down, which too Strain on my ears, which start to suck heavily during a 50 minute run. The whole thing should weigh a few…

Best service! for accessories and consumables

Item arrived quickly. I took it out of the envelope and saw that it was curled up in a bag. It looked like it was only six inches long as opposed to the 1 foot I ordered. I didn't want to open the bag and risk not being eligible for a return. So, to avoid foot and mouth disease, I "measured" the twisted pair cable with my index finger and thumb and got 6 inches, which I was sure were inches. I contacted the seller and explained (what I thought) the problem. Very politely they said they sent the

Sound quality was terrible (most likely mine was defective)

EDIT: Carey Brown makes a good point. I most likely have a defective cable. I should have returned it, not thrown it away and most likely not received a defective cable a second time. The more positive reviews for this product are definitely reassuring. it said. I won't buy another one. The cable I received was disgusting, phenomenally bad in fact. Upgraded to 2 stars because I don't like the company they keep at 1. First rating for posterity: I know what you're thinking. $7 for a 1 foot…

Pros
  • Handy article
Cons
  • Some cons

I have a laptop that I want to connect to a PC to a TV via a non-HDMI interface. Unfortunately, the AV cable I bought for this purpose has a stereo audio section that's a little short to get to without stretching the cable, from the top left where the video connector is to the bottom right where the video connector is headphone/line-out connector. So I needed a SHORT extension cord. That's pretty much the length I need. I also wanted the cable to go back from the PC and not to the side, so the…
