I ordered VALTEK water shoes for our vacation and I am very happy with them. They fit very well and are well suited for water shoes. They're very thin, so I don't think they'll work for the rocks in the river, but they're great for the clam beaches of the Gulf Coast.

I usually wear Fitkies and have tried 6 pairs. You wash them and they fall apart. I've tried these and they are a bit different than Fitkicks. The good thing about them is that you can take out the foot liner and wash it. Now I will use this company!

. They were perfect for the beach. The shoes are good and flexible but didn't allow broken shells or hot sand to burn his son's feet. When bodysurfing and swimming in the pool, the shoes are securely fixed. They are machine washable, but I highly recommend air drying them. They come in a thick transparent zipped pouch which is great for storing between uses. They fit my teenage son perfectly and fit exactly as we expected. I would recommend them as they offer excellent value for money.

I really needed water shoes to wear while canoeing, tubing and other summer river activities. That's what they're perfect for! You are instructed not to wear them on sidewalks or other hard surfaces and I can see why.
