The best modification I've made to my 5th wheel.

No more two-stroke rope valves that get more complicated each time. This setup is a tall order, but well worth the effort and money.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Some bugs

The best since rolled toilet paper.

Why didn't I buy this many years ago? No more pushing/pulling those stupid valve buttons. Believe me, if you don't have them, you need them! I used a ratchet strap to pull the pipe back when installing, it helps a lot.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Some nuances

This one is heavier and did a great job. I like the design better too

Replaces the previous solenoid valve that failed. This one is heavier and did a great job. I like the design better too. This design still has a T-handle if you need to open and close it manually.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • No power

Was it worth $250 to buy the valve and pay to install it? YES !

Someone else installed the valve. I wish the wiring was longer, wouldn't even have reached the storage compartment. BUT I LOVE IT! It's as simple as pushing the button and the valve opens straight up. No more reaching under the trailer to open the valve. Is it worth the money if it lasts for years.

works as written

bought this for my van this summer when i broke my wiring, installation took some time until i was trying to figure out how to route the water lines. This is a 3 inch setup. So if your gray tanks have 1 1/2 inch pipes you will need to purchase an appropriate adapter to make it fit. Also, due to the weight, you will need a strap to support the pipes and attach them to the supports - because the camper will bounce on the road - you don't want your pipes to break as a result. Wiring was simple…

Size matters with toilets and parts

I bought this for the rear black tank of a 2019 Keystone Bullet 330bhs. I broke a cheap aluminum handle and decided to take the opportunity to upgrade it. There were some problems with the installation. the length of the control cable can be longer. routed the cable up through the stove bushing and mounted the control panel outside the rear bunk. I measured decently but ended up only having about 1 inch of slack in the cable. In order for the hand train to be available I had to modify the…

Very significant. for RV parts and accessories

Received the valve today, unpacked it and found a very solid valve and motor with a very strong power cord. There are two unconnected terminals, these are the two terminals that go to the circuit breaker and since the device is DC powered it doesn't matter which terminal the terminals are connected to. Connections are omitted to facilitate panel assembly and two connections are made later. I would recommend taking pictures of the wire connections at the switch for future reference. UPDATE: We…

Will never go back to manual valves again!

Most important detail: I will NEVER go back to mechanical! I decided I wanted a small used camper that was easy to tow, that already had imperfections so I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking down and one that I could buy right away. Enter Outback 21rs 2007. I'll skip the list of fun headaches I've welcomed into my hobby world and instead focus on the uncomfortable ones. My very first tow was 500 miles, and in a rush to drain the tanks and clean out what had been brewing for years, I found
