Valterra P23402LFVP Check Valve Review

Purchased this item to prevent backflow through an RV's fresh water pump. I usually have good luck with Valterra products. This product has a problem with the end of the female thread. The NPT thread on the pump is broken. Search for other spare parts now

It's hard to be satisfied with something as small as this. He does the work he is meant to do and gets hidden behind the walls and, as they say, out of sight, out of mind. I see no reason why this should cause problems and last another 25 years longer than me. This is good quality. Thank you John

The plastic check valve that I replaced with this quality brass valve has been leaking for years. This is important when winterizing your water system; A faulty valve will allow expensive antifreeze to leak out of the water heater drain hole. This brass valve costs a little more than cheap plastic and potentially saves me $15 a year on antifreeze. Hmmm - looks like I just saved up some wasted money.
