🚽 Valterra T1020-1 Black Waste Valve Cap - 3-inch with Capped 3/4-inch GHT Review

I bought this to connect a gray water supply hose (sink and shower only) to a tree I was parked next to. Please do not use this product to flush black water (toilet). The small hole in the hose does not let solids through.

Easily replaces the factory cap, giving you more options for draining gray water. The only issue I had was the hose cap not landing all the way down on the cap when installing. It's always at the 7 o'clock position but still works well.

Behemoth is on the side of the house behind the gate. I hate moving it. It's such a job. In our city, grey/black is allowed to be drained into the sewage system. The black tank was empty and the gray tank was full. That and a 100ft hose left him dry. It worked wonderfully.

Conveniently attaches to the shit dart. Give it a quick spin and it seals well to prevent trail marks from poop following you along the way. Follow the directions and you won't have a problem with poop splatter ruining your day! This keeps everything moving until you decide to pinch it and hit the streets without worrying about seepage.

I have this on both of my gray water tanks in my RV. We call it a "cheat valve" because you can dump gray water without pulling out your nasty sewer hose. It's very discreet, and when you want to drain greywater, it just looks like your water hose is there. I would make sure you use a different hose than your regular water supply hose as it will and won't contain soap residue. Although most water is naturally biodegradable.

The new valve cover fits perfectly and works great. Also great price. Great buying experience.

Overall a good product and I'm mostly happy with it. Note however that it is not very easy to attach a hose to the "garden hose" fitting, the threads on it are not quite perfect for a garden hose, you have to be VERY careful to keep the threads straight and yourself if it is not tight enough to ensure a good seal, some water will always drip onto the floor. Haven't gotten around to it yet, but I'm going to try attaching a brass garden hose fitting to it, which should solve the only problem I'm…
