Game-Changing Tool for HVAC Pros

This universal locking removal tool is a must-have in any HVAC technician's toolkit. Its versatile design makes it easy to remove a variety of lock types, saving time and hassle on the job. The sturdy construction ensures longevity and durability for repeated use. However, the tool can be a bit expensive, but it ultimately pays for itself in time saved on jobs. Overall, highly recommended for industrial and scientific use.

Pros
  • Easy and efficient way to remove universal locking valves
Cons
  • Requires additional tools to use, which can be inconvenient and add extra cost

A tool I found to give all 3 types.

The only tool I have found that contains all 3 types of keys required for protective caps with storage options for unused keys

Pros
  • For unlocking J/B Shield, Rectorseal Novent and C&D Locking Cap CD3830
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I expected more.

Hard to recommend at this price point. Usually when you pay $30 for a driver it seems redesigned. This is not the case here. Plastic feels masterful. The plastic looks cheap. The bits are not flush with the tool because the magnet has to sit deeper in the screwdriver shank. The shaft mows easily and leaves the grip. When I rotate the tool, it wobbles. When I received it there was a layer of glue/epoxy/something on the metal rod that I scraped off and removed with PVC cleaner. Draft. It doesn't…

Pros
  • Magnetic tip holds bits securely in place
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
