🔥 Maximize Performance with Vance & Hines Naked VO2 Air Intake 71003 Review

Installed on my 2012 Road King. It was easy to install, the instructions were good (but not great). There were some issues understanding how the head vent hoses were connected. I didn't notice the wiper protruding further than the stock block as some have claimed. I installed a V&H air intake and a Power Duals exhaust at the same time, so I can't report a performance difference between the stock HD cleaner and the V&H.

I'm the only person in history who had problems with this shot! All three holes (nuts) for the filter screws had to be tapped and one hole on the filter had to be enlarged to fit everything together. I watched dozens of installation videos and reviews and everything went so easily. Not for me. Crazy. Never had a problem with a Vance & Hines product. Always exceptional products. This filter was purchased after careful research of several brands. The product quality is higher. All parts are machined to tight tolerances. Installation was easy. The bike's response to the accelerator improved immediately. Choose this model because it has a separate frame assembly that holds the stock air cleaner cover in place. Installed on my Electra. It took 1-2 hours (I had to run to the store and buy an Allen key). The fit and finish are amazing. The performance this has given my bike is amazing. It shifts down, starts in 1st gear, everything is much, much softer. The engine has become stronger, the exhaust sounds better. This was the last part I bought to customize my bike. I LOVE THIS TYPE OF THIS AIR CLEANER BUT THE PROBLEMS I FOUND I HAD ON FRIDAY.1. THE FILTER MOUNTING BRACKET CANNOT BE EASILY INSTALLED ON ALUMINUM UNIT. THIS REQUIRES SOME EXTRA FORCE AND WILL CAUSE INCOMPATIBILITY WITH LONG MOUNTING SCREWS. I HAD TO DRILL ONE OF THE HOLES TO EVEN GO THE SCREW ALL THROUGH THE PLANT.2.
