Maybe I only have a high shaft but they are a little tighter than expected everywhere, held up by loose laces but then feel a little loose, toe box is longer than expected but comfortably over shoes. However, they do not provide true ankle support.

Love them. Very comfortable, fit very well. And a great view. Easy to slip on, unlike some Converse shoes which are often too tight to slip on. If I need replacements, I take the same ones!

I liked the fit, snug enough not to slip but not so tight that it would hurt. They squeeze the foot a little on the first two socks, but then they fit perfectly.

Vans stopped making this style of high top and went to their current style which I think looks worse so I'm glad I was able to find them here , before they all disappeared. Great shoes
