These are some of the "upscale" Vans that have some padding, suede, etc. As with all mid-size vans, the sole is slightly damaged. They are very comfortable and take a little longer to put on than other shoes. The insoles are glued on, but you can just rip them out and put on better ones. The only thing about these shoes is that they look good with most outfits because they are pretty uncomfortable and I just want to take them off when I get home.

Bought for my daughter in college. She loves them and I ordered 9 and they sent me a size 8.5. She said they were a bit tight.

Nice shoe but one had white fraying on the toe but whatever you do don't go down half a size because I did and it's on my pinky toe was tight, adjust the size or come to the mall to try on or buy, returns are free so mistakes are possible but it is best to avoid returns as they take time and are also thinner at the ankle are than expected
