I like titanium things so I bought one of these. I was hoping to replace my cheap lighter to light my camping stove. This lighter is cute but it has some flaws. I have a couple of Vargo Ti products that I really like. Your bottle and couple of cups are great. However, this item was absolutely useless during the winter campaign. At home it worked great, the small size and the very small wheel took some getting used to. But nothing works as it should in the cold. Forget using it with gloves. The small size and useless clip make this lighter uncomfortable to use, it will be useless in cold hands. On the other hand it works well if you have the handling/dexterity but with cold hands/fingers I don't see this device working for me due to the small diameter/width. I have no problem starting my Trangia burner with this flint lighter after doing some experimentation with ignition and spark direction. If this device was 1/2 longer and without the useless clip, IMHO it would be worth it…
