Incorrect description

One star more for the scam of the seller than for the product. Aside from the lack of dynamic braking, VFD is fine. All signs in the listing indicate that the device is equipped with dynamic braking. The GT Series manual describes how to set up dynamic braking. One of the images in the listing shows the external resistors installed. However, it turns out that the GT series comes in two versions: with and without dynamic braking. The seller is aware that at least some buyers expect a device with

It does what it says

I installed this VFD on my bBridgeport Series 1 (1HP) Knee Mill. While I only tested this briefly, I left it running at slow speed all night and it worked in the morning. Setting the parameters wasn't very difficult, the seller has good videos on YouTube to show you how it works and it seems to be working as it should. Now I had a small problem with the keyboard key sticker peeling off, I contacted the manufacturer/seller regarding this, they responded very quickly and fixed the problem. I…

Works great once set up properly.

I bought this VFD to connect my Bridgeport factory to my house's single phase 220V power line. Overall the unit works as it should. It's like turning your 3-phase AC motor into a DC motor, with all the variability and control but with no loss of torque. I was able to keep the start and stop time at five seconds to hopefully reduce some wear and tear on the machine. Basically it gives a nice smooth start and stop instead of a quick hard bump. It has settings and options for just about everything
