Early Christmas colors

I have a head start on dressing for Christmas dinner without having to wait for yarn shops to restock. I would have liked the green and white option though, so I may have to look for that. It was the best combo available but no discount so I paid a little more for convenience.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

The strands are tiny. Don't repeat mistakes and don't waste money

The strands are tiny, like in the palm of your hand, but my hands are small. VERY expensive for what you get but the Christmas colors are exactly what I wanted to make Santa hats out of. I'm not sure if I have enough yarn because the balls are so small. I wish you success

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Disappointed.

I'm sorry I didn't read the description carefully but I'm very disappointed with the size of these skeins. Multicolored skeins are 2oz and single color 2.5oz. I just assumed these strands would be the size of all the other sugar and cream strands I've bought which is 3oz for the multicolored strands and 4oz for the solid strands. I've never seen such a small strand of sugar and cream. For this reason, these skeins are greatly overpriced.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Knitter

I didn't like texture

I've never used Lily's Sugar and Cream but I found a pattern that looked really great and called for an ombre ombre. I believe this seller offered the best price I could find which is why I bought it. This yarn is more like crocheting with a ball of thread (thicker) than the yarn. There is a use for it - I just wasn't expecting it as I said I haven't used it before. So if like me you are unfamiliar with the brand, note that the texture is different from regular medium weight yarn.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • No machine

Great yarn! Great color choice!

Ever since I found this yarn at Walmart I've been a fan. Now that I can buy it from Revain and have it delivered to my home I'm an even bigger fan! I bought this specifically for one color; green tint. It was just about completing a project and I had a hard time finding the shade on site. This cotton yarn has always worked well for me and I love that it comes in so many shades; one for every mood or project it seems! :) I've used this brand of yarn to crochet towels, washcloths etc and so far…

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive
