Buy this instead of

Great alternative to the $600 pump that GE expects you to pay for its $2000 ice maker. This pump allows you to drain the ice machine when installing at floor level with no gravity drain. It turns on automatically to drain the water once the water tank reaches the trip level, and while it's not silent, the ice maker performs much worse. I removed the door from my ice maker and was able to make room for this little pump. It works great. Easy to install and understand. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THEโ€ฆ

No more heavy desiccant buckets

Was looking for a pump that would easily connect to a dehumidifier when I came across this one. The dehumidifier was in an old basement from which you couldn't empty the buckets without climbing a ladder. This little pump is the answer. It was easy to install and had plenty of piping to get to the top drain for the washing machine. (I drilled a small hole in our floor to raise it, but it's barely noticeable). Don't let the thin line fool you, this pump pushes the water out once it reaches theโ€ฆ

For use with dehumidifier

No more draining your basement dehumidifier. I have one of these pumps on my boiler (stove) and was thinking about what to do with my dehumidifier when I saw someone suggest a condensate pump - what an obvious solution! Since I had a Little Giant for my boiler and it worked perfectly, I bought this device. It has a wall mount (included) so I removed the back of my dehumidifier and attached the mount to the body of the dehumidifier using the hardware I had. The pump is now attached to the dryer,

Works great with my portable air conditioner

I have a portable air conditioner that I use in my bedroom while I sleep and the drain plug is under my windowsill. For the past year it has dripped into a 5 gallon bucket and I emptied the bucket in the morning. Well, it's gotten so hot this summer that the bucket is overflowing when I wake up, so I had to think of a better method. This little giant pump is the perfect solution! The portable air conditioner drips into its half gallon container, not my 5 gallon bucket. When it's full enoughโ€ฆ

Saved me hundreds (and counting) up and down stairs!

This little pump has turned out great. I installed it to drain condensate from a portable (now semi-permanent) dehumidifier in our basement. The device is quiet, and the house has to be almost silent to hear it turn on for a few seconds about once an hour. I personally love the sound because every time I hear it works I know I don't have to lug a bucket of water up the stairs! It is very important that you use a pump kill switch to prevent overflow/flooding in the event of a pump failure. It is

Water pumps, parts and accessories last 5 years

I have bought quite a few (6-7) condensate pumps over the last 30 years. Cheap ones don't last more than a year or two. When I first bought this one (after buying 4 or 5 others) I was impressed. I said finally someone made a good quality pump. Now five years have passed. My wife complained that it was cold so I looked at the thermostat and sure enough it said it was cold and the stove was on. The fan worked, but no hot air came out. I went to the basement. This pump has a handy feature thatโ€ฆ

Should have bought sooner!

Update from 08/27/2021.7, still ongoing. I noticed this afternoon that it was very stuffy in the basement and there was a full gauge in the dehumidifier tank. I knew right away that the Little Giant condensate pump needed some love and attention. I took it out of the setup, cleaned it thoroughly (descaling tank, pump parts, fittings and hoses) and it worked again. So, 7 years and so far so good. Update September 2020! 6 years old and still at it! The little giant survived the dehumidifier andโ€ฆ
