Exactly as described - universal power strip and it works GREAT! In fact, some of the local extension cords didn't work, so I was very glad I ordered two of these. Excellent purchase!

This item is huge but I'm so glad I bought it before my trip to the UK. When I moved into my dorm I just plugged it in and it worked great for 5 months. I didn't have to buy any chargers in the UK.

sockets too close together to accept standard UK plugs. Also, it works well for my application: using US electronics (240V rated) and UK electronics on the same desk or entertainment center.

I bought this universal socket to use abroad and it works great. I can use speakers, iron and charge my phone at the same time

This device is made of high quality plastic. It's durable and seems strong. Some points of improvement if it comes with a separate switch would be amazing.

The product works. However, the design can be improved. It is not possible to put 2 UK plugs side by side even if they have universal sockets as the UK plugs are just too big and there is not enough space. This works if you use a narrow plug (like a US plug) and alternate them with UK plugs. A little more room on the sides of each socket would solve the problem.

Worked great in Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales! Most hotels and B&Bs have very few sockets and of course they are all 220V. We took two of them. Wanted to have a backup in case it breaks down. I ended up using both almost every night for a 35 day trip. Both worked great and we even wired them together at one point so there were enough connections for both sides of the bed. Don't leave the house without one (or TWO!)

Used for a 4 person trip to Ireland eliminating the need for multiple adapters. It takes up little space in a holdall, I've easily stuffed it into a fairly tightly packed backpack.

This extension cord is just what I needed: a large 3-pin GBR plug for the wall, a built-in surge protection filter, and then sockets that fit almost all pins (American 3-pin / 2nd pin). -pin, round European, etc.). Perfect for my quirky international living situation!
