Very easy to install. The tabs are designed to properly line up the holes with the hinge. It looks like it came from the factory. One person job (I did mine in about 20 minutes). I highly recommend this product. zero problems.

Console fits perfectly. I'm glad I went for the complete replacement rather than just the cap. There were some issues attaching to the mount, but I noticed that the screw holes were smaller than the original diameter of the screws. After pre-punching the holes I was able to glue it in place. The perfect replacement.

The video uploaded was very informative. I saw it after buying it. The video used a construction stapler. I don't have it and I didn't buy it. I do have a glue gun though and used it for extra security. Although you can collect without them. Took me about 30 minutes. However, it is a bit darker than my factory interior. Not enough to see unless you really look up close.

The only things that make it better. 1) Black screws match GMC, silver ones don't look very good. I just used the old ones and it worked fine. 2) Instructions would be a nice addition. I received this case thinking it was just a piece of vinyl or leather but it is the whole case. It was nice not having to mess with vinyl myself. It was easy to install and took a bit of work as you can tell it's aftermarket and not everything fits together. But it's relatively easy to install. The colors deviate slightly from the factory colors, but that's not a big deal. I would recommend this as an inexpensive replacement for any torn console cover.

2008 2500HD - appears to be the same color and quality as the OEM. and rotate it to align all the holes to install the cover. and of course, unlike the original, which literally locked in place when you flipped the lid down, you have to slam like crazy to close and lock it in place. Also, the screws you get to put the cap on the cap are soft enough to use a regular Phillips screwdriver to remove the heads. I ended up having to use the original screws which worked great, let's see how they hold…

The original hinge of the console cover is broken. The cover (imitation leather I think) was ok. But I decided to replace the whole cap with this product here. Bought about two years ago.
