The best thing about this product is that it allows us as front-end staff members, who are not physicians or nurses but rather administrative assistants in an ED setting where we spend most of our time during shift changes/breaks etc., have access via computer screen (a la Blackberry) so no need for walking around with charts everywhere! The ease of use of the system is incredible. The fact that it is a web based system means that it is accessible from anywhere, anytime! There is very little that I do not like about the program. It is easy for one person in my office who has no IT experience at all, I mean literally can not even use MS Word yet she was able get up an running with it fairly easily because of how intuitively simple everything works within EDDIS! I use this system for all our ED's in my organization, which includes 5 facilities across 3 states (Alabama, Georgia & Tennessee). It has been an amazing success!
