Great Padded Cycling Gloves

I needed a pair of padded (palm) cycling gloves as I was doing something with my right hand and it was causing pain when riding my bike. These gloves are very comfortable for what I use them for. They may not be as breathable as other gloves. So if you sweat a lot, you might find a pair that breathes better than these.

Better than I expected

The gloves didn't seem to have much padding at first but the gel is adequate and not bulky. At first the seams dug between my fingers and I thought I couldn't wear gloves. After wearing them several times, they feel too comfortable for my hand. I wear them often, they are comfortable and last well. Good product at a good price.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Good but not great

Firm and comfortable grip

I have always worn leather cycling gloves in the past and was pleasantly surprised by the ability of these gloves to provide extra grip on my city bike's shifters. Throwing back in time I am aware of the need for something that can stand between my hands and the road and find these gloves to be seriously protective and very reasonably priced. You look good too.

  • Few competitors

They may be "gel " but don't provide good cushioning

These are well made cycling gloves. They have the appearance of something that will last a long time. My problem is the "gel" part of the equation! Where's the beef?.. as the old advertisement yelled. My old pair of Bell gel gloves still have more padding than these new gloves. My hands go numb after an average of 45 minutes. I like her, I just don't like her. Double gel and everything will be fine!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not the best

Ventura Gel Glove Disappointed

Although the padding of these gloves is excellent, there are downsides to their design: The ridges between the fingers cut into the ridges. At first I thought they might have bought a size too small for me, so I decided to give them to a friend who has much smaller hands but had the same discomfort of the space between the fingers cutting into the finger tissue. I have had many pairs of cycling gloves and have never had this problem with others. I think when it comes to anything like gloves the

Must pass this on to Ventura

Well I have to pass this on to Ventura to make a quality product. I bought these so my hands wouldn't get so badly beat up while working with the lawn mower. They are padded on the underside of your arm. They also have a nice terry cloth lining on the thumb and you naturally bat your eyebrow. Ideal for a hot day of gardening. I'm not sure how they'll hold up, but I'll paste them into text. I have VERY big hands and the XL fits, but it's definitely not big. I'm pretty sure they'll stretch out a…

Wow, that's better!

In our quest to restore our perfect physiques to middle-aged bodies, my husband and I started cycling more and more. Tingling, sometimes aching wrists and fingers were a problem. We don't wear fancy bike gear (where we live it almost seems like a requirement, so I decline on that basis! LOL) and I didn't want to pay $30 for riding gloves. Yes, baby, these $8 gloves are great. The gloves are hot when it's 95 degrees outside, but the lack of fingers really helped. There's a pad in all the spots I
