Type of review

It seems that most of the positive reviews about this product are due to smaller drives. I should have paid more attention to this as my drive had already died after 3 weeks of ownership. I'm not exactly sure what killed it, but the drive is definitely unusable now. I was concerned this would happen when testing the transfer speed. Less than MB/s and often drops to 0 for a few minutes before pulling again. It was of course the writing speed. Reading speed didn't seem noticeably slow. I justโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Minor issues

Unable to copy and paste large number of files on disk

Most storage devices allow you to copy and paste any number of files/folders at once. Not with that. I could only copy and paste a few at a time to disk. Very long and slow.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Works as expected.: USB sticks

much cheaper overall than it used to be. They're great for giving people photos and videos without worrying if I'll ever get the drive back.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok

This drive is beautiful up close

If I hadn't given it a star I wouldn't be able to place that statement there that a memory card is 128 119 and starts at high speed and then drops to zero and stays there for 5 to 10 seconds and then returns to normal speed before dropping back to zero

Cons
  • null

Slow as a snail because it's an ancient USB 2.0, bought by mistake, the product shows up with you 3.0 filter on amazon. so slow it's useless. Drive won't stay connected, unstable junk, don't buy, waste of money, waste of time returning, I like to smack it in with a hammer.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Pros
  • Slot in and out function protects USB connection when not in use, eliminating the need for a separate case which can easily be lost
Cons
  • Many things

i give it back for data storage

2 problems: + File transfer speed is SLOW! + At least half of the files are corrupted. I am using this with a wireless DVR that records video to a USB stick in a very large MTS format. Then I transfer the videos from the USB drive to my computer, convert them to MP4 format and transfer them back to the drive. I used a smaller Verbatim 64GB USB 2.0 drive. This did the job very well, but required more available disk space. Since I record live broadcasts, it didn't immediately occur to me that the
