Don't go wrong with that!

. This is my second pack of 50 of these and they are probably one of the best if not the best type of CD. Usually, when a person buys CDs in such a spindle, they are not very good. Usually they are all worn out, especially at the end of the pack, but this one was fine until the end. Apart from the fact that they contain AZO dye which is better than the cheap dye you get in most CDs these days, their surface seems a lot more scratch resistant, I would say they are one of the very few that are…

Pros
  • Big variety
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

SIMPLY THE BEST - Accessories and Consumables

I have been using these blank CDs for many years. Let's face it, they are the best. I've probably gone through about 400 of these already and never had a problem. Also 1 didn't burn properly. The price (which is about 1/3 higher than standard blanks) is fully justified by the reliability alone. As for archival quality, I think time will tell. I am convinced - after using these AZO DYED CD-Rs - I will never buy standard shapes again.

Pros
  • Holding Fists
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Works best on CD-R discs

I've managed to burn music onto 9 out of 10 of these discs, which is better than the usual number of failures I experience. There is a hiss and crackle when I play these discs, but I'm not an audiophile purist and I don't care too much about that. I always throw away my jewelry boxes, but these started breaking when I threw them away. If you are into jewelry boxes, you might not like this. All in all an average product that serves its purpose.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negligible maintainability

BIG! Work with old CD players!

Works great! My old CD player couldn't read homemade CDs and now often won't read new commercial CDs. I thought the formatting had changed until I read a review that said the newer CDs are more transparent and don't reflect enough light to be read by older CD players. This review states that you need to use more opaque CDs in order for them to work with older players. This brand and the TDK Life on Record brand should work with older turntables. I bought both and both work! I'm so happy! Now I…

Mitsubishi Chemicals has what you need for a PS1 backup

If you are after back download some data or back up your PS1, these are the CDs you need. Apparently not all Verbatim discs are created equal and I've learned that the hard way. When I was looking for a good medium to burn some PS1 backups after getting stuck with cheap Memorex CDs, I read that the Verbatim discs were of excellent quality. I bought a 50cc spindle here at Revain and the rims turned out to be unreliable bullshit. Why? Because apparently Verbatim allows several manufacturers to…

Pros
  • 700MB perfect for storing digital images of music (including mp3), videos and more (each CD-R can store up to 225 photos)
Cons

You know how they say they don't build them like they used to?

Absolute junk! I paid a premium for them because they were AZO, but they are not your 90's AZO Verbatim DataLifePlus. This is absolute rubbish. After 2 failures from 2 burns I'm not worried. I took a cheap nameless brand and no problem. Why did I pay the same amount of money for 10 of them when for the same price I could just buy a spindle with 50 nameless? Great regret of the buyer. DO NOT BUY! 7/6/21 Confirmed trash. None worked. After recording, all discs were unreadable.

Pros
  • 50 full-value, non-rewritable CD-Rs with 100 years of storage in the archive
Cons
  • Something else
