Got this for my dog that hates getting her nails clipped. Works well, but I dislike that the speed can't be changed. It's basically on slow-ish all the time (fully charged or running low on juice). Excellent value with the nail clippers included!UPDATE: The drill is constantly on "slow-ish" and really doesn't work well with my rottweiler's or strong claws. Worked okay on my great pyrenees puppy, but couldn't get her to sit long enough to finish one paw. I know now why they included the clippers

This product is easy to use and very convenient if you have the patience with your pet, rather than going to the groomers and spend your money. Plus I like that my dog seems to be more comfortable with me then someone else doing it and I will know it will be cut how low I want it, I will say that my dog is very timid of the grinder which I believe it is the very low noise it makes, so for the most part I use the clippers and the nail filer but it works all the same just depends again how much…

If your dog can tolerate it, this will probably be a great purchase, but there it no way to know until the grinder hits the nail. It is reasonably quiet, and the sound or presence is pretty tolerable to most dogs. It is the reaction to having it grind on a nail that is the question. Rather than buy and return, see if anyone you know has something similar and see how your dog reacts.

My 80lb dog, who is petrified of getting her nails done, doesn't mind this at all! It's quiet, and gets the job done! It is by far a superior product than the old pet nail grinders.

Had a couple things missing from the package but they resolved the issue very fast and are sending me a brand new product with no send back! I would very much recommend this product to anyone it works great and have no problems other then that!

I bought this for my cats nails. It has two speeds. Slow and slower. It barely grinds the nail. It takes a long time for one nail. The cat is very anxious by the time one is done. I would not recommend this for anyone. It barely takes the points off the nail.
