Useful, but worried about longevity

These pedals work well for what they are. It's great to have the option of platform or SPD. They're getting a little difficult to clip in and out of after 700 or so miles.

Pros
  • Rust-resistant and long-lasting
Cons
  • May not be as good for riders who like to change positions often

Good product for stability

I have ridden about 250 miles on single-track, rocky, rooty trails with the pedals. They still spin like new and hold the shoes clip in place like new. They are easy to clip in and out of, particularly on hills and tough terrain when you may have to unclip and clip by in. I would buy them again. My only complaint is that if you pull up with your leg too vigorously, your shoe will likely release from the pedal. I like the product for the stability of keeping my shoes on the pedals, but wish that

Pros
  • ‎9.69 x 5.31 x 2.05 inches
Cons
  • May not fit certain shoe sizes

Great for riding woth or without clipping in.

I like the fact that they don't have sharp lugs on the flat side. I have those on another set of pedals and keep scratching my legs on them. These pedals provide plenty of grip without the sharp lugs.

Pros
  • Compatible with a wide range of bikes
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to replace while on the road

For when you like cleats but cannot always use them.

Just what I needed! I have a GREAT trek demone and I have a 6-yo son who wants me to ride with him. Cleats are my preference but there is a lot of stop n go with a 6-yo. Wearing flats on my old clip petals resulted in a few slips and smacked shins. These new petals are a perfect solution for both switching between flats and cleats!

Pros
  • Excellent pedal very easy to clip on and off. Very good grip when unclipped. Will recommend
Cons
  • May not be suitable for beginners

Worked great as a clip-in pedal!

These pedals are multi-use as advertised and worked great as the clip-in feature, but when I tried to use them on the other side of the pedal for when using regular shoes, I had an extremely difficult time keeping my shoes on them as they were way too small for my shoes. I wear a size 11 EE shoe. Might work with smaller shoes but did not work for me. I will be keeping them if I decide to put the pedals back on my mountain bike at a later date to use the clip-in feature.

Pros
  • Offers excellent performance in all weather conditions
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to find replacement parts for

Quality seems comperable to the Shimano pedal

I just installed these pedals on my FELT Z5 road bike. They installed very easily, no bent threads, already had grease on threads. My Shimano MTB shoes were able to snap in and out of the pedals just as well as with the Shimano pedals on my other bike. I use MTB shoes on my road bike so that it is easier to walk (up hills) when the need arises. These pedals are about 50% heavier then my comparable Shimano SPD pedals but I don't plan to enter any races and the cost is a little more than half as…

Pros
  • Ideal for endurance cycling and touring
Cons
  • May not be as good for riders who like to ride unclipped often

Ok value, a bit narrow.

Over-all I'd give these pedals 4 stars. 5 would be reserved for more expensive pedals perhaps. These were for my ICE recumbent trike that gets more miles for errands or short day rides so platform worked most of the time. I have been using platform touring pedals for the last 700 miles & my feet would sometimes drop too close to the ground. I wasn't planning to change my cleats until I'd put some miles on these pedals and had some difficulty locking in and out (may be due to worn cleats). But…

Pros
  • Cycling
Cons
  • May not be as lightweight as other pedals

Great peddles in my review

They have been great so far the only gripe I could have is they are a little heavy and the paint is scraping off. But for the price point and use that would be the same for most peddles

Pros
  • Affordable price for a high-quality pedal system
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to maintain than other platform pedals

Great Pedals for Gravel Bike

Installed these pedals on a Specialized Diverge. The clip side defaults to the top which works best for me. The dual sided feature makes an easy choice take a quick spin using the non-clip side without changing shoes. Pedals are substantial in the hand, well manufactured, and Spartan for a carbon frame bike. Arguably, the seller has spell check and titling issues. These are NOT Shimano brand pedals, but use the Shimano SPD clip configuration.

Pros
  • Excellent Value !
Cons
  • May not fit well on some shoes

Good pedal but. good for me

Flat side is a little bit slippery when wearing biking shoes, fine with softer bottom gym shoes. Otherwise seems to be a good pedal.

Pros
  • Both clip in and regular street shoes perfect
Cons
  • Not compatible with all bike types

Haven't fallen off yet . . .

I continue to try new pedals on my mountain bike and these seem to work really well. The flat side has a lot of grip with the right shoes and the spd clips work as expected. I like 'em.

Pros
  • Great for off-road adventures
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to get used to than other pedals

Great buy for your bucks

I do like these, unfortunately, both adjustment screws came out at some point during one of my commutes. Have no clue at what point. But I definitely would recommend them. I would love it if I could find similar screws to replace the ones that got lost.

Pros
  • Perfect for competitive racing and events
Cons
  • Can take longer to clip in and out than other pedals

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well built and a decent price.

These are solidly built and install easily. Only issue i have with them is the grease on the bearing seems to be a little thick so the pedal doesnt spin freely under its own weight. It poses a problem when trying to clip into the pedal using the clip side. The grease may loosen up over time but out of the box it makes clipping in a little finicky.

Pros
  • Pedals
Cons
  • May not be as good for sprinting or climbing

Great bargain pedal

These are a great option for a commuter bike. They feel about half as "solid" as a high end shimano pedal. Hence they cost half as much. Great for spd shoes or flats. I'm very happy with them for my Specialized Sirrus 2

Pros
  • SMOOTH BEARINGS: LSL bushing & sealed. Very smooth and reliable. Axle: 9/16" CNC machined Cr-Mo. Double sided clipless, Cleat: Compatible with Shimano SPD type cleats SC-C01F (single release) included.
Cons
  • May not offer enough support for heavy riders

Impressive Quality for my opinion

Only have a few rides on them but so far very impressed! Build quality seems nice and bearings are fluid and smooth. Nice packaging and come with SPD cleats which is a bonus as well! Perfect size for mountain biking.

Pros
  • Great design. Would like it better if pedal spun a little easier.
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other pedal options
