These doorstops will definitely stop some serious doors

Made of hard but flexible black rubber, easy to remove. The only comment I heard from the security guard (and he can complain about anything) is that they aren't bright orange. I think I know where to put one of those jammed doorstops.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Functionality

Fits perfectly on my doorstop.

Read the description carefully and more importantly you will know what you want. Almost all the reviews I saw related to the fact that the buyer didn't seem to know what he wanted. It's just a large, non-sticky rubber wedge designed to hold large commercial grade pipes in place. Make your decision carefully. Worked great as my doorstop!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Smells very bad. Slides on ceramic floors.

I bought this to prop my kitchen/laundry room door. I can't even use it in my house because it's very toxic. It smells like really strong melting tires. You might also think that since it's rubber it would stick to the ground to prevent a heavy door from closing, but it's not sticky at all. This wedge simply glides across the floor when the door is closed. Definitely not worth the money if you use it for a door wedge.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No automatic

Finally a durable door lock!

Our rear garage door is very heavy and also has a 2.5 inch clearance from floor to door when open. We used all sorts of things to keep the door open. When it arrived my husband was excited to use it. Holds our heavy door with no problem. We use it on a cement floor and it stays where we put it. It arrived with a rubber factory smell that dissipated after a few days. (and it wasn't too bad) He's strong and a good weight. We are very happy with this product!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Big but not big enough I think.

Although it's big and rubbery, it couldn't keep my door where I wanted it. I will say that I have tile floors and live in Corona, California where it gets very windy during the day. I kept looking for door wedges to keep the door where I needed it, but in the end the wind won out and just opened the door and doorstop like any other doorstop. The main problem is that tiles and rubber just don't stick. Also note that it smelled when I received it. Like tires. Like a week.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Large, durable rubber wedges

We received these as rubber grommets but they were a lot bigger than we thought so didn't work in the traditional sense. We ordered three wedges and ended up cutting one off to act as a spacer and then used the other half as a small doorstop. The other two we found easy to use and served as doorstops for doors that are above the ground. It smells like rubber and had a layer of soot, but that comes off with a simple cleaning. Good hard rubber and way better than sticking a big rock in front of…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Non-jamming, smelly, ugly wedge.

The wedge does not wedge, is poorly shaped and smells awful. The only way to use it as a doorstop was to put it in front of a light colored door. It's hard enough for that. But it's too hard and slippery to stick to surfaces. There are ridges on one side. So if the floor is very rough concrete or stone, it might get stuck, but the ridges would probably wear out soon. It's also the stinkiest piece of rubber/plastic I've ever owned. It's worse than tire smell and I had to take it outside because…

Pros
  • Surprising
Cons
  • Some flaws
