Kitty loves it!: Hairball Grooming Paste and Gels

I can't even put it on her paw - it licks right off my finger. There is also no fishy smell. Been using it for a week now and NO lumps! I want everything to be that simple.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • very expensive

Cat hates it most in Health Supplies

Bought this for two of my cats who are prone to hairballs and they both wrinkled their noses and walked away in disgust. Vet Worthy Chewballs are a much better option. The pickiest eat them.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Worth every penny on cats

Best for hairballs and cats love it. He begs for it every morning. He doesn't like being on his paw so he licks the lid off. Haven't seen a hairball on the second tube yet. Almost every day before.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Frequency

Cats won't lick it

No matter how well it works, as long as it won't be eaten by cats. We have another brand that cat eats but they don't have a problem with hairballs. I will search further. It was like liquid toothpaste. I'm used to sticky molasses.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Power outlet required

Cats don't like that!

The texture is weird - and our cat didn't like it. She didn't even seem to want to lick it off her paw. I ended up finding another product (Richard's Organics Tuna Flavored Hairball Gel) that works amazingly well and that the cat loves - I highly recommend it instead!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Overall ok but...

No more vomited hairballs!

My cat used to sneak into my bedroom and use the space under my bed to puke when I was away. Imagine my horror when I found dried hairballs under the bed! After a veterinary check and the absence of any problems, I bought this product. They call it a gel but it's not clear, it's more of a paste. A 1-inch strip squeezed onto cat food like toothpaste once a day significantly reduced hairballs and helped them pass. No more vomiting under the bed!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Our cat loves this ball of fur! Worth every penny!

We have a long haired Norwegian Forest/Ragdoll cat that is constantly groomed. We have tried different brands of cat hairball products and this is Katie's favourite! This isn't your typical messy gel or oily product in a tube, this brand has more of a mousse-like or whipped consistency. Easy to apply, easy to lick. In fact, she comes running to us when we grab a tube for her daily dose. This is effective and keeps her away from those horrible hairballs. Would highly recommend this product to…
