INCREASED AIRFLOW IMPROVES HEATING/COOLING EFFICIENCY. HELPS CONTROL ODORS: Treated to help capture contaminants that cause odors. Dirty disposable cabin filters can cause a musty smell in your car’s interior. SAVE MONEY: Washable product that lasts. EASY TO INSTALL: Pre-treated and ready to drop into your factory air box. Typically installs in less than five minutes with no tools required. WASHABLE AND REUSABLE: Engineered to last for the life of your vehicle. ECO-FRIENDLY: Using a washable, reusable product reduces landfill waste from disposable filters. More than 100 million disposable air filters end up in landfills each year. Unbelievable price, best performance

A bit pricey but I love these washable filters. I put them in all my cars. Can't recommend them enough. You save a lot of money in the long run

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Empty

Fits 2015 Xterra

I have a 2015 Xterra and this product shows it is not for this year. How much has the car changed in a year since it was said to fit a 2014 model and the 2015 Xterra was discontinued? I rolled the dice. He comes!

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

2014 Xterra Pro 4-X is super fresh.

K&N makes great products. The original filter that came out of the truck was disgusting. A washable filter makes sense and pays off. When disposable filters are removed, they are destroyed, making it impossible to blow them out with an air compressor to extend their life. Washable items I can wash up to the maximum recommended time of 12 months or earlier. My Xterra is fresh.

BEST ECONOMICAL UPGRADE

Cabin air filters are standard on many vehicles today. But dealerships often charge big bucks to replace them (my Honda dealership charged over $100 for a single filter change). But in many cases, it's an easy 10-minute do-it-yourself project. I've bought them for Honda and Nissan and can see it's actually pretty easy on these cars (Accords, Pilots, Frontiers and Xterras). Buy once and then clean instead of replacing. Depending on how long you keep your car, they will pay for themselves many…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

You get what you pay for! Application: 2008 Nissan Frontier

I have used K&N filters in motorcycles, cars and trucks for many years. They live up to their reputation! I just found out recently that they also make cabin air filters. It was a timely revelation as I am renovating my 264,000 mile 2008 Nissan Frontier to give my eldest son his first car. With over 30,000 miles since last change, replacing the OE cabin air filter is overdue. After removing the paper tore. Worse, I saw that the filter's "frame," if you can call it that, shrank upon…

Pros
  • Solid Finish
Cons
  • Damaged
