This fits my workshop vacuum, in fact it fits just right for a good seal. But the rubber tips are flimsy and flimsy, you have to be careful how hard you tighten the nut because you won't feel it, and the rubber tips won't hold. I have upgraded my Ridgid shop vacuum to a VF5000 with improved filtration. But I paid $25 for a Ridgid brand filter at Home Depot. I used it to death. So this compatible version is a better buy at a lower price. The 2 filters look the same with a rubberized cap. If only one spare nut was included in the kit it would be even better. The vacuum cleaner works just like an OEM product. I wonder if a HEPA version is available. It would be great for indoors.

goes well with my 16 gallon Ridgid shop vacuum. It seems to filter well with no noticeable loss of suction. It's good to have a few filters on hand so that if one gets clogged and you need to clean it, you can keep working while the other dries. I reuse them by hitting the sides to shake off the dust. It tends to get really clogged up after a few uses, so I flush it inside out with a garden hose until the water runs clear. It takes about a day to dry, so it's handy to have a spare on hand.
