I was originally sent the wrong part. But this flange is great. It is best to expand the pipe end to the inside diameter of the flange. Weld and you're done.

The actual inside diameter of the flange center hole is 2 9/16 which creates a large gap between the 2.5" pipe and the flange. 1/16" sounds like nothing, but when it comes to sweat fumes, it's huge.

While it fit well, both surfaces were not flat and were not smooth enough to ensure a leak free seal. In fact, after installation it was leaking despite brand new metal gaskets. I had to mill and sand so there were no leaks. After milling the surfaces and reassembling everything was fine.

The flange itself is quite thick, very good quality. Some reviews have said it's not perfectly flat, which is true to an extent. Anyway, a slight band grind is what you should expect when installing on your cat/collector if you want a precise fit. I had no problem handling the spacers making the light ones for this setup. For $26 you really can't compete. Everything I've bought from Bright so far has been high quality and durable.
