Perfect! for performance parts and accessories

Put this on a custom exhaust, 2000 Civic Ex 1.6L Sohc. This gave him a much lower tone. 0-tone rasp, wet dog fart, angry bee or herbivore.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Changed resonator in the resonators

So I bought this to swap with my factory resonator because I wanted something louder than stock and it was a great option. I have a 2016 Nissan Maxima with Stillen Cat Back exhaust, Jemini Ypipe and now with this resonator. It's a low growl and I couldn't be happier

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

GTI downpipe drone solution!

Added AWE downpipes to my 17 GTI Sport and my ears were literally bleeding from the harsh hum between 2500 and 3500 rpm. It's a super solution to my ears. Retains a slightly (very little) louder exhaust note but kills the head-splitting roar. Perfect solution. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Zero

Difference between day and night

I recently replaced an OEM downpipe on my 2015 GTI and the sound was too aggressive for my liking so I decided to replace the OEM resonator with a Vibrant 17930. My local muffler shop did the job in 25 minutes for $80 and all I can say is that the difference is finite and is a day. I drive a Unitronic Stage 2 with a CTS downpipe with an OEM exhaust and now my car sounds like it did when it was stock. I am very satisfied with the performance of this product.

Fantastic resolution! for exhausts and parts

I bought this for my 2016 GTI. I put it in the middle part of the Borlas pipe. It also has an APR downpipe. Before the resonator was installed, it was quite loud on cold starts, unbearably loud on full load, and sounded like a lawnmower at cruising speed. After installation it is now a little louder than normal but with a pleasantly deep hum. I'm amazed at how different this thing is! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a more relaxed driving experience.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Working Speed

Well done, works as expected

When I replaced my Fiat 500 Abarth exhaust with a high flow coil and 2.5" exhaust system, it turned out to be VERY noisy. I mean, how noisy do you expect a race car to hit the track on a trailer, but I need an everyday car, and although the police don't issue loud muffler coupons where I live, the noise gets everyone on me I'm looking at a car, and since I also like speed a bit, I'll soon attract the attention of some law enforcement officer. So I cut 18 inches off my center tube and welded in…

Get rid of the squeaks, rumbles and quieter exhaust!

PLEASE READ THE FULL REVIEW Decided to remove res and muff with magnaflow installed instead of where res used to be. So I turned it on and it sounded. Well everyone including me was impressed. Shortly after I left, I was immediately annoyed with the drone. Especially at certain speeds. But those DCT switch farts were so loud that some have had their ears plugged. I started researching and many VW owners have said that it helps to get rid of squeaks and hum and to muffle it. So I bought it and…

Pros
  • good stuff

  • unbelievable price

Is it really a resonator or a silencer?

The 17930's that I received appear to be well made, like every Vibrant product I've had my hands on. How they work is a little tricky. I bought a 2011 X5 50i a while ago (Twin Turbo V8) and it had a leaking resonator and I wanted a little more sound so I removed the muffler and put two Vibrant 1792s in place of the muffler based on what I had I've seen other X5 owners. I also added both an X-pipe and an H-pipe to mix the sound of the dual exhausts. To replace the leaking resonators I installed…
