Review on Vibrant 17930 Outlet Stainless Resonator by Covey Palmer

PLEASE READ THE FULL REVIEW Decided to remove res and muff with magnaflow installed instead of where res used to be. So I turned it on and it sounded. Well everyone including me was impressed. Shortly after I left, I was immediately annoyed with the drone. Especially at certain speeds. But those DCT switch farts were so loud that some have had their ears plugged. I started researching and many VW owners have said that it helps to get rid of squeaks and hum and to muffle it. So I bought it and it arrived a few days early. A HARRYING WEEK LATER I FINALLY INSTALLED IT, and what a difference! It was too quiet :(. BUT it killed all the rumble and scrape. It's installed a few inches from the exhaust tip. It got louder about a couple of weeks after it was broken in. But the noise in the cab hasn't changed much Finally I can listen to cool music!By the way, I still occasionally hear exhaust noises etc. Warning: you can smell something burnt out of the exhaust.It's a muffler/resonator hybrid.It's surprisingly good for the price.And it's brilliant!
