I thought there was a shoulder massage and a back massage so I bought it. But no. Only on the back. I was going to leave it anyway. I used the massager for a few days and it stopped working. The thermal part worked but the massage part was dead. Needless to say I returned it.

Perfectly relieves pain. It only lasted about a year, but I haven't found anything better yet. My back pain, actually diabetic nerve pain, requires me to use this device almost continuously during my waking hours (the product recommends giving it 50% rest periods). I change almost once a year, as the motors wear out, the bearings squeak unbearably. Fortunately, Revain recently replaced a device that had a faulty switch two days later. The price has dropped from $80 to almost $40 over the years.

I gave this massager 3 stars because it has some nice features: 3 vibration speeds, the vibration is not as harsh as shiatsu, 3 temperature settings and it really heats up, and nice fabric. BUT the problem is that it's a big piece of plastic (motor?) that hits you in the middle of your back when you recline or lie down with your chair.
