I gave this massager 3 stars because it has some nice features: 3 vibration speeds, the vibration is not as harsh as shiatsu, 3 temperature settings and it really heats up, and nice fabric. BUT the problem is that it's a big piece of plastic (motor?) that hits you in the middle of your back when you recline or lie down with your chair. It's also quite heavy and actually a lot bigger than what I was expecting from the picture. It runs down my back. Also, it doesn't sit well on the shoulders. I had to hold it with my hands to feel something in my shoulders. Also, the neck piece is pretty small and doesn't even touch my neck. I'm a little skinny so maybe these issues wouldn't be as bad if you were taller and the plastic thing wouldn't hurt your back if you had more padding than me. But I'm only sending it back because my back hurts.
