Description of Victor Arcair 22082003 Electrodes Copperclad

High grade, all purpose Copperclad pointed gouging electrode. Current type is direct current and the operating polarity is direct current electrode positive with reverse polarity. Amperage capacity is 800 to 1000 amps. Controlled copper coating improves electrical conductivity (for more efficient, cooler operation). Applications include fabrication, maintenance, repair shops, shipyards and foundries.

Carbon arc brazing is quite outdated and the original consumables are difficult to braze.

I used them in a carbon arc soldering torch. Carbon arc brazing is pretty outdated and original consumables are hard to come by, but they're very close. They burn out a little quicker than the ones I remember and they're brittle, but they're cheap and there's a lot of them in the box so it's not a big deal.
