Have been using a Victorinox paring knife for at least ten years and it's a bit dull. Cook's Magazine just compared paring knives and although Victorinox was the cheapest, it ended up being the best among some very expensive brands. I use this knife very often and I like it very much! For other tasks I will look for a slightly larger blade. Highly recommended!

Great little paring knife

I was looking for a little paring knife similar to the one I've been using for about 30 years. Many of the knives advertised as paring knives look more like vegetable peelers! Although this knife is slightly larger than my original, it comes close enough. It feels good in the hand and cuts well. I like it so much that I got a second one. I prefer a serrated blade, but you can get a straight blade if you like. I definitely recommend this paring knife.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Available in white only

The best straight blade paring knife at an incredible price.

This knife received the highest rating for a straight blade paring knife from America's Test Kitchen, and you can't beat the price. My wife loves this paring knife and uses it for almost everything because it's light, easy to hold, comfortable to hold and maneuver, and stays sharp no matter how she handles it. I thought it would be too small for big hands but it isn't. Surprisingly, the handle doesn't get slippery when covered with food juice.

It's a paring knife that thinks it's a lightsaber

When it arrived I didn't like the look, the handle isn't as pretty as my Fibrox knives. Now I don't care if the grip comes off completely, I would put a new grip on it. I started peeling potatoes with it and thought the potatoes had gone bad and gone soft or something. This knife cuts effortlessly. Super sharp and very little resistance when cutting. I'll probably add another next time I need to order something else from Revain.

Pros
  • Probation for one year
Cons
  • Nothing

Passes THREE CHEERS test

1) arrived on time 2) item as expected 3) didn't have to contact seller My mom swears by this brand of knives and now I understand why this is the second one I've had and they are great. He's very sharp. Can be washed in the dishwasher as often as you like. Be careful not to cut yourself as it is very sharp. I would recommend not getting a paring knife if you plan to use it to cut meat as it's a bit short. But if you use it for cleaning, it's perfect.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Хорошо, я купил так много ужасных ножей в прошлом, что, когда этот был рекомендован на America's Test Kitchen и стоил меньше 10 долларов, я подумал, а Why not? It's sharp, stays sharp, is easy to sharpen and is an amazing knife. Then I went out and bought a set of four Victorinox knives for about $100 - they are life changing in the kitchen. The bread knife is impressive and the chef's knife is beautiful. You will not be disappointed. The only problem is that they don't look particularly fancy.

Pros
  • Стильный и современный дизайн
Cons
  • Доступен только в черном цвете

Great knife! It took first place on cookscountry.com!

I saw a clip from Cook's Country on KET (Kentucky Educational Television) where they tested a range of paring knives from different brands and prices in their rigorous kitchen testing lab. This one beat all the others including the one that sold for $50! I bought one for myself and one for a friend. Check out this quiz and all her amazing recipes at cookscountry.com! They actually have a segment where they test a lot of different kitchen items/tools in their shows. I happened to see them…

There's no denying that it cuts well, though.

. Just like my disposable plastic razors This knife has almost no substance, no power. Look at the two pictures I've attached. The picture of a knife is an old OXO paring knife that my family and I have used for decades that was recently lost. This is what a paring knife should look like, but OXO was and is a cheap cellar brand. Victorinox, while sharp, is so light and the metal so thin and easy to bend that it's practically disposable. Stations from a million years ago remain more substantial…

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was
