No depth of sound.

Skip children. I liked the low profile, this looks uncomplicated (plus dust cover) but the sound is so bad. Take away all the bass and imagine the record playing at the gym - it's even worse.

Exactly what we wanted 🤍

Very happy with this player! My husband and I have wanted one for a long time and I finally decided and surprised him with this decoration for our anniversary. He was in seventh heaven with happiness. In our opinion, the sound fills our 72 square meter apartment well enough; even more for our living room to enjoy cleaning or background noise while talking. Wild would definitely recommend it, especially as an appetizer/gift for someone who has wanted it for a long time!

You get what you pay for!

We really like the look and feel of this player. We really wanted to love it! However, the sound on the turntable sounds like it was dipped in water, dried in rice, and then repackaged! It doesn't even compare to the old-school turntable that sat idle. We love the scratch vinyl sound our vintage turntable delivers. We will definitely stick with our old school player and do without all the extras. That being said, this player has an additional function that allows us to connect it to another…

Not bad - home audio system

Purchased as an all-in-one player, as a radio and as a player it is good. The sound isn't very good, it reminds me of my childhood with a portable player in my suitcase. But it's a bit tinny and not very loud. The needle is not so bad, it looks like a sapphire, but the doctor does not say that the hinges of the cap are flimsy and require care when opening or closing. All in all it works but the sound is really lacking and the size is way smaller than the LP but it's a $40 turntable so I really…

Terrible sound, best in turntables

This turntable sounds TERRIBLE. I even thought about leaving it and plugging it into an external speaker. But it sounded just as bad on this speaker (which usually sounds great). Obviously the point is in the player itself and its ability to convert sound. I'm very sad about this, I've been looking forward to buying a new turntable for a few weeks now. It was a birthday present for me. I would not recommend this player at all. Yes, it technically worked, but it sounds very muffled, with no…

good with small "g "

All other reviews are true. Take care of him and everything will be fine. There's nothing special about it other than how it looks. It's beautiful, compact and fits in a very small space. Bought for a teenager who loves vinyl records. Works like a starter. The sound is no better than laptop speakers. The radio part works. Bluetooth works but is not required. And for 50 dollars - what is. Don't expect Audio-Technica quality here. But for a teenager you don't want to have next to your expensive…

Audio Explanation

This turntable has a built in preamp, for those who don't know what that means, this means the turntable's speakers must be powered by an amplifier. The problem is that the speakers and amplifier on board are of very poor quality, but more importantly they lack bass. Small loudspeakers of this size would not need a bass amplifier anyway. The problem is, there's no getting around it! I'm trying to play it on my nice sound system which has its own amplifier to allow for low frequencies. However…

Time Machine for Turntables and Accessories

Okay, I'm old - I have hundreds of records from the mid 60's to the 80's. They sit on my shelves and I look longingly at my old friends from 50 years ago - I've got all the digital gear, I've tried a tube amp but what I longed for was my old teenage turntable. The one with only a few buttons but could play Led Zeppelin loud enough for my dad to come upstairs during Whole Lotta Love to break a record on his knee ;-) It's a blast from the past - I've dug up albums with a musty smell, and they…
