VIDBOX VCS2M Video Conversion Suite Review

Easy to use! Easy to set up! Took less than 10 minutes! I have some VHS tapes to convert. But it's a lot cheaper than taking it anywhere. You must allow video playback to be recorded all the time. So if a video is 2 hours long, it will be recorded for 2 hours. No fast forward. No problem!

This box seems easy to set up but I haven't been able to get it working since I bought it (both on MAC and PC). All I get is a blank screen and lots of noise, which is very disappointing. Since the cost of this is very high, it is surprising that the cables required for use are not included and you have to purchase them separately. In summary, you should avoid buying it because there is a serious risk that you will find that it is a waste of money.

This hardware is designed to operate only with the included software. The included software is poorly designed. This software is totally useless for Windows If you have a Mac, you probably wouldn't mind getting a Mac version of this product. If you have Windows I would definitely not use this product. On my Windows, I get feedback by listening to the video as it's being converted. When I connect the viewbox to the Mac and navigate to the same part of the video there is no feedback. I followed all the instructions and it works really easy. I downloaded the software from the website instead of using the disc that came with it as many of the reviews recommended it. Vidbox converter and software work great. I have converted over twenty 8mm Hi-8 videocassettes. The quality is excellent and I haven't had a single problem. Installing software on my Macbook Pro is easy and convenient. No mistakes. Connecting the Vidbox hardware interface (the little white box) to the 8mm player and Macbook was easy. I bought a converter for PC and Mac but I had no luck with either. I installed it on my Windows 10 PC first. It seemed to work fine for the first Video8 tape, but problems soon arose. Perfect. I mean it was just what I needed and so easy to use. I have had above-average experience with computers since about 1980. But I guarantee you won't have any problems no matter how good you are. So… a few things to keep in mind. As with any audio or video signal. Turn it on, turn it off if you know what I mean.
