Works on Windows 10. Requires computer with optical drive to get drivers

Adapter works to boot on Windows 10. Image looked good on Dell 27" IPS monitor at 2k setting. Only reason to get 4 stars is a mini cd driver disk. I had to copy the file to a flash drive because the computer that needed the adapter didn't have an optical drive. The file is called "window7-windows10_1.0.9.exe"

Requires minidisk to install drivers

Wanted to use this adapter to connect an external display to my Macbook Air. The supplied mini disk is required to install the drivers. What computer accepts a minidisk these days? Why don't you provide the drivers online? I tried using SuperDrive for Mac but the drive got stuck and required a screwdriver to remove it. This damaged the SuperDrive, which now needs to be replaced. Complete disappointment.

If your laptop doesn't have a CD drive, don't worry.

So I'm honest. I got this converter working so I can expand my monitors. Thought it was a good option for the price. It turned out to be a waste of money. I've looked EVERYWHERE for a driver for this device. NEVER FOUND. The best help I got was the people in the reviews section, but even THEY couldn't get the device to work most of the time. The included micro CD is useless if you have a laptop without a CD drive and can't find a driver anywhere online. In general it will be dusty.

I figured it out myself just because I have little experience with this USB to video technology. I have 2 monitors with Trigger Graphics (USB to VGA) technology. Eventually I decided to uninstall my trigger program and this cheap product started displaying videos. So far it hasn't shown up…
