Great monitor. A few questions. There were many cables in the kit except for one that I needed. No DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable or DP adapter was included. Beautiful colors and excellent viewing angles in landscape mode. However, portrait orientation fails. The viewing angle in portrait mode is terrible! You just need to place it at the right angle, otherwise the colors will turn white or darken. Not what I expected from such hype of their advertising.

This is my first Viewsonic LCD (I've used Samsung and Dell before) and I've had this monitor for a little over a year and already have two dead pixels. I love my old ViewSonic VG2228wm LED but I love this one even more. This, in my opinion, fixes several shortcomings of the VG2228. I can only give this product 1 star because I haven't been able to use it. I didn't understand Displayport which wasn't compatible with my systems. If the interface was bi-directional and interface hardware was available I could use it. As a result, the product was returned and I purchased an ASUS 23 inch monitor (which I use in a dual monitor configuration). Although ASUS has Displayport connectivity, it also has HDMI and uses IPS technology.

The perfect complement as I can connect to my 13 inch Macbook Pro with a Displayport cable. When setting up mirroring laptop and external displays or using them as two separate screens, the resolution is not clear. However, it is high res when I only use the ViewSonic monitor with the laptop closed and using an external keyboard and trackpad/mouse. Great price, love the easy setup of this excellent monitor.

After much experience with the VP-2770, I needed a simpler, smaller monitor for another, less-used Mac. This 22-incher is just right for you. It has Displayport, so no adapters. Image and text are clear, no dead pixels. When I was looking for new monitors, I decided on Viewsonic. They offer DisplayPort on many models. and their quality is excellent.

Great monitor but a bit uneven top to bottom. I do a lot of critical color grading and you need to keep your head slightly above the top of the monitor to get a smooth display. Overall a great item for the price. Also, you can't get the desired minimum refresh rate of 72Hz at full resolution. Your brain can see the update but not your eyes. Therefore, a refresh rate of at least 72Hz is essential if you do a lot of graphics work so that you don't get a headache at the end of each day.

It just so happens, but I've never been able to figure out why ViewSonic is selling this device without a DisplayPort cable. It's very sad.

The color and size of this monitor is good. It's easy to set up and I like that it has USB ports. It also came with numerous cables. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the speakers. I use this with Mac Mini. When the Mac wakes up from sleep mode, the display shows a "No Signal" message. The drivers supplied with the ViewSonic are on the CD and cannot be accessed as the mini device does not have a CD drive. There are no Mac drivers on the Viewsonic website, only Windows drivers. I don't know if this is a driver issue but I can't pinpoint it as none of them are available for download. I'm not sure if this is a good Mac monitor. Works but drivers are not updated?
