spec. exactly as the document writes. So that fits my requirement. With such a small product, it really comes in handy for wireless use.

This is not an adapter, these are projectors.

Wireless support for connecting the projector to an access point - WEP only. Wow. 2014. WEP only. The ViewSonic adapter supports WPA2 when used as a PC wireless LAN adapter, but the projector only supports WEP. Useless. It can be used for special projector connections, which may be useful for some. $90 is too expensive for this type of adapter, but that's all that's available for use with ViewSonic projectors.

This is NOT what you expect

If you are purchasing this adapter to connect to a ViewSonic projector so you can project images without having to connect to a computer, YOU WILL PROBABLY BE DISAPPOINTED. I urge you NOT to buy. The user manual is useless. It doesn't even mention that the adapter plugs into the projector (come to think of it, that's the important part). It is never shown or demonstrated how to use the adapter. How to connect the adapter to a computer to connect it to a wireless network takes 75 pages, which is

Waste of money and time

This Viewsonic WPE-100 wireless dongle was purchased for a Viewsonic PJD7583wi projector. The documentation for the device is useless as another reviewer pointed out. Nowhere is it explained how to use the key with the beamer. Don't waste time calling their tech support as they keep referring to useless instructions I already had. After spending a good hour on this, I decided to just plug the dongle into the projector and hardwire the projector to the network. You can then configure the…
