This 27" Viewsonic monitor lives up to its description. It's crisp and clear. I'm very happy. Not only high quality, works with the highest resolution, but also a very reasonable price. This monitor is significantly cheaper than other monitors of the same size. It works, but it's not what you would call a "beautiful display" and suffers from a number of issues.1. I'm a software developer and I have two of these devices on my Mac at home. They offer plenty of space and a clear display for daily reading/writing of texts. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who consumes a lot of media (although it's HD, the display isn't really that special) but for a regular work device they're definitely excellent.

It's not super screen quality, but it's pretty good value for a 27-inch monitor. This monitor makes my job easier which is why I gave it 4 stars.

I bought it when they had a gold box of the day to replace my monitor so there was something to watch HD movies instead of a TV and computer monitor. I don't know what people are complaining about. There's no noise, the picture is decent, very bright - I turned the brightness down about 30%, but it's still bright. The native resolution of 1920x1080 seems to fit almost as much as two 21" monitors! Without brand awareness, I was a bit skeptical. But I bought it because it got great reviews and the price was right. The monitor is amazing. The only thing I would change is to add a feature that lets you tilt it up or down. I simply put a wedge in front of the base to give it a better viewing angle. Keep in mind that it doesn't come with built-in speakers.

I wanted a 27" LCD monitor but didn't want to pay a lot - and still have a great viewing experience. This does what it takes. I'm sure you can pay twice as much and get a better screen resolution, but it's really great for my computer work. When I'm watching Netflix or DVD on my computer, this screen is just great too. I've been using this product for a few weeks. Everything OK. Bought for better visualization. There are some improvements, but not the biggest. For the price of a large screen monitor I have as a guest, I got my money's worth.

This monitor is of great value. It was essentially the same price as many other 21-inch monitors. I don't hear any noise when reducing the brightness below 90, so I think another reviewer who had this issue had a bad monitor. including the DVI cable. Luckily I just replaced a broken Samsung and used the cable from that one.

This is a great monitor at a great price. I don't design extensive graphics and use this monitor at home to surf the internet and play PC games.
