This is solid, not cheesy. Nice professional stainless steel model that should last a long time. Finally managed to rid the kitchen of a yellow plastic chicken head toy. Progress!

This is the best slicer. I can't imagine that one will ever be needed again. It's heavy, well made, and designed for slicing soft veggies as well as eggs, although I haven't tried it on veggies yet. You will be glad you received it.

I'm trying to use this for the first time and unfortunately the return period has expired. One side of the slicer isn't attached to the tool, so it doesn't work very well. I would love to exchange it and try the tool the way I think it should have been. I cannot recommend this product as mine was defective

I had high hopes for this cutter but after 3 uses in a crisscross pattern the wires broke. I'm still using it until the straight wires fall off. The wires don't line up with the base slots which I think put stress on the wires. The cradle is small and cannot accommodate larger eggs without moving them, which also puts extra strain on the wires. I do not recommend.
