The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I have exactly the second version of this lens under Sony. With all the possible shortcomings in this lens, everything justifies the cost ! Every invested! I use on Sony A7 mk II. Focus is accurate and fast, contrast is better than AF Samyang, color is excellent. Chromatics are present, but not more than in other high-aperture glasses for 3-5 times the cost. According to the totality of characteristics, there are no analogues on the market now. Of those close to it, this is the Zeiss Batis 85mm

Pros
  • Sharpness, autofocus, contrast, constructive, bokeh, Price!
Cons
  • Chromatic aberrations, lens hood are trifles

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

An excellent lens for my money, I took it for a bundle with Sony a7. With the first seven, autofocus is quite slow and sometimes misses, but this will not happen on the triple and newer cameras. You can use. From the factory immediately came with the latest firmware. Sharp, solidly assembled, you can’t say that it’s cheap. I recommend to buy as an alternative to the native Sony 85mm f / 1.8. You can take.

Pros
  • Fast, inexpensive, sharp, metal case.
Cons
  • Not silent autofocus, more of a native 85mm Sony. Pretty heavy. Sony a7 sometimes does not see the lens. It is treated by restarting the camera. Not critical, but annoying.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Pros: My first lens on Sony a 7 2, Beautiful bokeh, sharpness, I like everything. I am attaching some photos Cons below: When I shoot a video, everything shakes, I don’t know what it is connected with, maybe there is no stabilizer in it .

It was simply impossible to think that a Chinese lens shoots like that for such money. I bought a Sony ILCE 7M3 on FF and began to use it as a staff member for artistic photography of people. The lens can be ated, Lightroom knows it, and the manufacturer's website has a profile and ates. I recommend!

Pros
  • It shoots great and looks great on a7m3, the sharpness is already at 1.8. Just great for the price.
Cons
  • Terrible hood - does not put on, does not take off, creaks, backlash, just tin

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Excellent portrait for the money. Do not be afraid that this is China. As I understand it, they cooperate with the Japanese company Tokin, and you don’t have to worry about the optical design. I wish the film Viltrox continued success in the development and production of such lenses.

Pros
  • Price. Fast, and fairly sharp lens. Durable metal body. The focus ring is also metal. Beautiful bokeh. Survived a fall from a height of 1.5 meters onto the paving stones of Red Square, fixed on a Sony a7m2 camera, no dents or scratches formed. The lens is recognized by the camera as Zeiss 85 1.8 and all necessary edits and corrections are made.
Cons
  • The lens is not at all light, but this is a price for a metal body and a good optical design. There is a significant flaw, this is an unsuccessful fastening of the hood, you need to clearly and tightly dock in order to spin it, but due to the fact that it sits very tightly and the plastic is joined to the metal, the skids on the hood itself begin to wear out and in some places the plastic is jammed. The rubber o-ring is missing like Tamron has on the bayonet mount.

Quite good, but I expected more from it.

Sharp on the open, gives an interesting geometric pattern with round bokeh and a ragged out-of-sharp area that smoothly transitions between light and dark areas. Consequences of the copied optical scheme of the bathis. The body material and build quality are like glass for 2022. All seams are very high quality. Pretty light for an 85. Low price both new and resale. Autofocus is terrible, even with the latest firmware. On a7m2 it is stupidly absent - it crawls somewhere, looks for something and

Pros
  • Manufacturing materials Photo quality The weight Price
Cons
  • Autofocus speed, its tenacity Blenda Reliability Focus ring (subjective) Lack of support from the manufacturer
