Would definitely buy again

I love light! Not very bright, but that's to be expected from Edison bulbs! Great for the nice soft light I use next to my bed

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • The list would be long.

Excellent alternative to traditional globes

Love it! I replaced the original shades with these big Edison bulbs to make them look different and I'm so happy with them!

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Reliability

Looks good until lit

Looks good straight away. Very dark when turned on. Very orange color. I would compare it to a 25 watt lightbulb. I already bought a lightbulb to replace which is good because I installed it on Saturday and it blew out on Monday.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Little things

Eased part of the trip and lost parts in another

I was too concerned to keep and use them so went back. The cost is reasonable if they were in good condition! I have other types of Edison bulbs and they are great but not very bright so I don't expect to be able to read with them unless you have 20/20 eyesight.

Pros
  • Set of two (2)
Cons
  • Very expensive

Worth Every Penny - Bulb

It's hard to describe how beautiful the photos are. The new LEDs simply cannot be compared. These T9s went well with my other T14s. It is difficult to find T9 in a helical thread. At full blackout, the color temperature looks more in the 1800K range. My only concern is how long they will last. The filament itself is a tiny spiral filament compared to a typical solid wire tungsten filament and not the shape it takes in the bulb. The time will show.

Pros
  • Filament: Spiral; Hue: Amber
Cons
  • Some bugs

Poor Quality Control

Update: Replacement bulbs arrived with no defects. Looks really cool outside my garage! I've adjusted my rating to reflect the hassle of the exchange (which was minor, hence only deducting one star overall). Original: All the metal ends going into the socket are crooked (one very severe). They are not loose so they are not damaged, it seems they were just made that way. This makes it impossible to install my lamps (they don't screw in straight, they screw in at an angle). It also makes me…

Pros
  • Power: 60W 120V; Shape: T9 T9-185; Cap: E26 Medium
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
