Reviving Classic Stitches with Vintage Charm

Get lost in a world of intricate arts and crafts with these delightful embroidery designs. The patterns are stunningly detailed and give a vintage feel to modern stitching. The instructions are easy to follow, and the end result is a beautiful piece of art you can enjoy for years to come. The only downside is that the designs could be more diverse, but the quality and beauty of the ones included make up for it.

Nice picture collection

The source for this picture collection is a hundred-year-old quilt with red embroidery on almost every panel. Most of the images are simply designed and inspired by agriculture, including animals, plants and tools. This is a good source of images that you won't find anywhere else if you're looking for things like this. Probably best suited for red thread embroidery.

Cons
  • So far, so good

There is no recommendation for this.

Contains useful information about embroidery, transfer, stitches, thread, needles. However, if you are looking for well-detailed, clear diagrams, this book is not for you! The drawings are "primitive" to say the least, many of them unfinished and all but two shaky. Two on the cover - surprise, surprise! are the only clear ones in the book. And it seems that Ms. Barikman's products are expensive. I wouldn't buy this again.

  • Available in white only
