Maneskin - Teatro Dira Vol.1 (Light Orange Transparent) LP "Teatro D''ira - Vol. I" is a limited edition 2021 studio album by the Italian rock band Maneskin. The release is presented on orange vinyl. Måneskin (pronounced "Moneskin", from Dan. måneskin - "moonlight") is an Italian rock band whose members are vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Tomas Raggi and drummer Ethan Torchio. The main milestones on the band''s path to fame were the second place in the eleventh season of the X Factor Italian talent show in 2017, the victory at the Sanremo Festival, which was the Italian national selection for Eurovision 2021, and the victory at Eurovision 2021 with the song " Zitti e buoni. The members of the group have known each other since high school together. In 2016, as students at the John F. Kennedy Lyceum in Rome, they decided to create a group. The name was chosen shortly before registering for a local music competition for up-and-coming bands. The participants asked Victoria (half-Danish) to come up with a few Danish words, hoping that at least one of them would fit. It was decided to call the group Måneskin ("moonlight"), despite the fact that the meaning of the word was in no way connected with the group itself. Pulse''s up-and-coming bands competition marked a turning point in their careers as they had to start writing their own songs. Participation in the competition allowed them to perform at the Felt Music Club & School, where they later won their first award. Later, they performed as musicians on the streets of Rome''s Colli Portuense, as well as in the historic center of Rome, including the Corso. In 2016, a meeting of independent record labels in Faenza hosted one of their first live concerts outside their hometown. About 30 people attended the show. After a trip to Denmark, during which the band also played several live concerts, the members of Måneskin became more united and spent several hours a day together. On November 24, 2017, their debut single "Chosen" was released with the support of Sony Music, No. 1 on the Italian FIMI Singles Chart. The song is included in an EP of the same name, released in mid-December 2017, which mainly consists of covers previously performed by the band during the X Factor show.
