This stuff works really great. Super happy! I had a very dirty record and wanted to clean it before wiping it down with a rag because I didn't want to scratch it. The gel worked like magic and removed almost everything from the plate.

couldn't use it because it was liquid when I opened it to take something. I stuck my hand in to take a piece and all I had was wet. whatever liquid it's become, it's very disappointing. I bought some old albums thought this stuff would be great for them unfortunately their product is green thin

Brian was right (previous 1 star review). Too bad I didn't listen. The gel is more like rubber cement. Antistatic cloth doesn't know what to do with it. The gel just rolls into the fabric and you're left with a mess of lots of little bits of gel to try and lure the record into. Stop after 2 albums. The product is more dumb putty than a record cleaning kit

I think this is a joke, not worth a dime and it only worked for a few days. It worked at first, but after a week the gel decomposed, becoming almost liquid and losing its green color and turning pale. Every time I used it it got sticky and left sticky bits on my hands and I had to wipe it off with a cloth. More importantly, it stopped being effective when it came to cleaning. I had to get rid of him.

This gel really works! I have very old albums that even a centrifuge cannot clean well enough to get rid of the pops and crackles. While this gel is not 100% effective, it works great when used correctly. Don't smudge it, just dab it on the surface or roll it over the surface leaving the gel bead intact. A quick clockwise wipe with the included microfiber cloth after using the gel will definitely improve the sound of your album. Again not 100% but it helps.

Genius Sonic Weirdo is what I call the guy who sold this unit. He or she also appreciated it well. This product is everywhere, you could even buy it cheaper from China, but the way it is sold here is awesome. It removes static dust, forget the included fabric. You just roll the whole ball over the record, being careful not to hit the label, and voila, the record looks like it just got ultrasonically cleaned. I like it so much that I order more.

This product has been working great for less than two months. When I first bought it it worked beautifully and I was very happy with my purchase. In less than two months, the mucus lost its shape and began to resemble soup. I couldn't take it or use it. It spilled out like a liquid. Thinking it might be an accident I ordered it a second time. This sticky mass is excellent for removing dirt in grooves that are difficult to remove with a dishwasher cleaner. Don't try to smear or rub it off the vinyl, it will only mess it up. Take a sticky piece from the jar and apply a dollop to the areas you want to clean. It pulls the material out, but afterwards I always gently rinse the record with vinyl cleaner and a microfiber cloth (not the tiny one that comes with the kit) and rub the grooves in a circle, NOT across, to remove any remaining…
