Not compatible with Linux games

Found after purchase that the AMD chipset used in this card is very old by PC hardware standards, first released in 2010. While it works well on Linux for desktop applications, including browsers, the chip isn't supported by the newer Vulkan graphics system that most Linux games now use. I've managed to get a few (mostly very old) games to work, but most of them either crash on launch or don't launch at all.

Does what it's supposed to do

I have several HP Gen5.6 machines that don't work with newer versions of Linux Gnome/GUI - boot fine but don't need to be used as a main server. This card is a relatively inexpensive choice to overcome this limitation. The downside is that I use the PCIe slot for that. I'm not using it for gaming, just the server GUI, so I'll leave this blank. If I still need one for one of my other servers I end up buying that card, but since the game console update is on my list I just transfer it to theโ€ฆ

Runs in Gigabyte Aolus Ultra with Ryzen 5800x; arrived with loose screws

Useful at least for a home server where I don't care about graphics performance. Please note that this device does not come with a low-profile bracket. One of the VGA connector pins is loose and the other loose in the pocket, but that didn't seem to damage the card itself. This works correctly in the slowest full-size slot on the aolus ultra, leaving the faster slots available for memory expansion). I have previously tried ASIN B01E9Z2D60 PCIe x1 which did not work on this motherboard with this

NO software

This is an outdated graphics card, which means you'll need to find copies of third-party drivers and controls. I tried to install it on my Lenovo A510 PC with an updated Windows 10 64-bit and after downloading the driver I could only get my old flight SIMs like MS Flight Sim X and IL2 Sturmovik. Wings of Prey was stuttering in the video and I've exhausted all the options I could find to no avail. MS Flight 2020 loaded and then crashed every time I tried to start it. My PC has Radeon R7 graphics

Curved Case Mount

Product is supplied in a sealed carton and sold/dispatched by Revain. In the box, the card was sealed in an anti-static bag. After I removed the graphics card, I found that the bracket on the card that attaches to the computer case was bent. The flex isn't what would happen if it bounced around in the box. That's how it must have left the factory. The top tab of the bracket that holds the screw to the chassis has been bent down. The top surface of the bracket, where the VGA connector isโ€ฆ
