Specialty Tool

I bought this tool to help even out the oranges in a candied orange recipe. Works effortlessly and doesn't dig into the whites under the skin. Highly recommended for any serious cook.

Pros
  • I Hold My Fists
Cons
  • Quality

Great addition to my bar inventory!

I'm always trying to improve my playing with baton instruments and this is a great way to do it. I've used other cutting tools to get my "zeal" but as soon as that bad boy showed up, me and the king of zeal! It was bought quickly and arrived quickly as you would expect.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Infuriates

Would you like a lemon twist or torn lemon zest?

Bought a few weeks ago and unfortunately unusable. The knife is not sharp enough to cut the lemon/lime zest. However, it does a fantastic job of peeling off the skin in uneven, jagged chunks, so if that's what you're looking for, go for it.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • I don't remember

Too boring for a lemon for utility knife

I needed a tool to swirl cocktails. He can make curls out of oranges. But this is a horror for lemons. It takes too much pressure for a dull blade to cut farther, so it only cuts 2-inch lemon strips. I will look for a new tool as I end up wasting a whole lemon with no useful twist. After that it ends up in the garbage.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Fading

Unstable quality! Do not buy!

I bought this product a year ago for pomander carving and it worked well. This year I decided to treat myself to something new. What came was so boring it was a useless tool. I threw away the packaging so I will not be returning it. As you can see from the photo, the new one not only has stupid, but also no channel. Heavily disappointed.

More boring than boring - couldn't be

It's amazing how boring it is. I didn't even get into the peel without so much pressure that the lemon was crushed and the peel was just torn, not cut. Feel the edge with your finger, it's blunter than a spoon. Total joke. I have a dremel moto tool and have tried sharpening it with a small round whetstone and it has made a small improvement but most people would not be able to do it. Find the real one and skip this one.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
