Works fine, but only once.

I installed this as an inline filter on my 82ft Yamaha. Worked fine after installation, collected a small air bubble at the top, but that's not the filter's fault, it's the way it was applied/placed. The two star rating is due to the fact that when I tried to remove the fuel pipe and attempted to gently pry it in circles, the inlet came loose inside the pipe. $13 is a little pricey for a one-off part that takes the fuel line with it.

The nipple broke 10 miles from home.

Broken at the point where the intake pipe joins the body. The plastic is brittle. There was no voltage and it did not contact any part of the bike except the fuel line. I use factory wire clamps, not worm gear clamps. I was happily driving the interstate when the bike lost power. I stopped and fuel spilled onto my engine. I removed some of my emission control vacuum tubes to use as a fuel line. It brought me home. Considering the time and cost of replacing the vacuum tubes, this was the most…

Fuel filters aren't the last

If you want a fuel filter you can rely on, don't buy this filter. It will break at the side of the entrance. I used this filter on my Multiquip GA-3.6RZ3 alternator and was going to run it and it started on the second draw and then started to spatter. I looked at why it wasn't working well and gas was leaking out of the fuel line where it connected to this filter. Filter inlet tube broken off in fuel line.
