3/16 Inline Fuel Filter

I need a 3/16 inline fuel filter for a generator sized fuel hose. Also transparent so I can see the fuel flowing to the carburetor.

Works well so far!: Filter

has worked great on my honda z50 and small yamaha quad bike, installed in 6 months and no leaks. It seemed expensive to buy plastic, but as I said, months went by and there were no problems

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • expensive

Compact design. Suitable for most applications.

This filter has a more compact design than most, unfortunately it is still a bit big for the space between my tank in the frame and the Mikini carburetor on my motorized bike. The fuel filter needs to move straight up and down to allow proper fuel flow, which unfortunately is quite a challenge on my setup.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Clean the fuel filter so you can see the fuel flow!

I bought this filter to use on my generator so I can monitor fuel consumption and any deposits in the fuel tank. It seems strong enough, but time will tell. That's overpriced! Exactly the same sized red and white ones are a lot cheaper but you can't see the fuel flowing through them and you have to separate them to check how the fuel is flowing!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other filters

The intake pipe broke quickly

I ordered this for an ATV to keep dirt out of the carburetor. It was very similar to the one I bought on Ebay a few months ago. However, this one began to lose fuel in less than a week. Can't tell if it's cracked or chemically melted, but where the inlet enters the disc area about 70% was broken around the inlet. I ended up going to a lawn mower shop and bought one to replace. Dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Not the best

Nice little filter.

Bought this little filter for a 50cc moped. I added it after the faucet and before the carburetor. It seems to work very well and I appreciate the fact that it's transparent so you can see the fuel. You should be able to see the particles sticking - if any. I only gave it 4 stars because it seems a bit cheap at just over $5. Can't complain although it appears to work as intended and is well described. Just make sure you know what size your fuel line is before ordering.

Good filter but no fuel flow Arrow

Not a bad filter but the manufacturer really needs to print the fuel flow arrow on the housing like any other filter. There are conflicting instructions in the reviews and Q&A for this filter. I ended up installing the filter incorrectly and my scooter stopped working. There wasn't enough petrol. After disconnecting ALL tubing (main PITA) again and flipping the filter, everything is now working fine. When you buy this filter, half of the larger diameter needs to be connected to your FUEL TANK…

Pros
  • Everything OK!
Cons
  • So-so

Good filter and easy to install. Once you know where "up " is

The Visu-Filter line is highly recommended on the internet (for scooters, motorbikes etc) and I have little experience with such things I Cannot fault anything Except No instructions for proper installation. That means: In which direction should the fuel flow through the filter? I emailed the manufacturer and he sent me the schematic. Fuel flows from half the smaller diameter to half the larger diameter. So: (to put it too simply) the larger half-jet should be connected to your carburetor, the…

  • Good product for its price
