Fit is best described as 'doesn't fit'. The waist is thin, but the legs are long and wide. The body of the shirt is medium, but the neck (when closing) is narrow. The waistcoat runs large - at least one size larger than the rest of the outfit. Luckily the boy being dressed is quite slim so the legs and vest can be adjusted. Also, the garments are simply sewn (but of good quality) making them easy to tailor at home.

I bought one and it was too big so I exchanged it for a smaller size. My son has all legs and a long torso with no hips so his legs in jeans are closer to a size 8 but his hips barely reach a 7 so the struggle is real. I got this suit for my wedding and it was amazing! It fit well (I took it at the waist) and it washes really well too (he played in the red mud during the reception). I highly recommend this suit. Just be aware of sizing issues as I measured it before I bought the first suit.
